该扩建工程耗资1亿美元，围绕博物馆当前枢纽和作为建筑功能部分的巨大榕树而建。翻新后的园区不仅增加了35%的画廊空间，还将标志性的树木、热带花园、收藏雕塑、大片草坪和倒影池等9000平方英尺的艺术景观迁至户外。 

EDSA与福斯特建筑事务所和GGN携手合作，为业主提供概念设计和施工管理服务。
