Overview

Celebrating 50 years of operation, the $120 million expansion to the life plan community provides residents with resort-style amenities, wellness opportunities and scenic views within a tropical atmosphere. Situated around an extended lake, enhancements include the addition of 150 independent-living, apartment homes in two new state-of-the-art residence buildings. Adding to the lifestyle experience, a 25,000 square-foot pavilion with dining alternatives and auditorium, along with a rooftop amenity level, aquatic center and street level fitness studio emphasize the vibrancy of social spaces.

Located in the heart of the community, accessible parking, walking paths, green spaces and gardens focus on the functionality of outdoor spaces helping to create a home-like, safe and welcoming place for all residents.

After developing the master plan for the full 65-acre community, EDSA’s involvement continued with the Westlake parcel by ex-panding property offerings with outdoor spaces that are an integral part of activity programming, services and amenities that stress the importance of connectivity. Paving the way for new trends within the healthcare community, John Knox Village is an elite retirement living facility.
