Unique in how the park integrates with the resort itself, Mayan cultural elements and textures are interwoven within the lush oasis for a consistent guest experience. More than twenty million gallons of water circulate through the park’s amenities with high-speed water slides, a mile-long river ride with rolling rapids and wave surges, 20 swimming areas, a kids water-play fort, a life-size Mayan Temple replica, a 7-acre snorkeling lagoon, and 12 refreshing swimming pools. The ground-breaking designs also incorporate exhibits for sea life at the ‘Dig’ and exploratory sunken Mayan ruins in a diverse underwater habitat.

As the team leader, EDSA was responsible for overall land planning, landscape architecture, and construction documents, bringing the site to life through precise attention to detail and innovative design.
