Located in Doha on the Education City Campus, this world-class women and children’s hospital is a 350-bed, 1,200,000 square meter acute care facility. The project also includes a clinic, underground parking, parking garage, and central plant and will be accompanied by apartment-style housing for 350 nurses.
The facility, which strives to provide an environment that will attract the best minds in healthcare, is also programmed to expand to 550 beds over time. The site includes extensively landscaped grounds, as well as one outdoor and three indoor healing gardens associated with the hospital.
EDSA was involved in this project beginning with the master planning and continuing with conceptual design and design development.
