Gateway districts include a waterpark, waterside entertainment zone, urban mixed-use core, hospitality corridor, health and education zone, residential islands, high density living zones, and a lifestyle corridor. Built upon the flowing forms of nature, the design overlays lakefront promenades, islands, parks, and greenways with a man-made pattern of structured roads, light rail, walkways, and bikeways.
